i'm pretty short(5') and i don't know wear to get a dress.
do u know a store that would have dresses that would actually fit me?

There are TONS of places where you can get a dress. Here are my suggestions:
JCPenny
Macy's
Kohl's
ROSS
Marshall's
The Silver Hanger
Debbie's
TJ Max
and
Dillard's

Try Debs in the mall. Just look for clothes and dresses made for Petite girls.
Also, look at some nice shoes. If you have a 2 inch heal, you'll see a difference.
Does your mom know how to sew? Usually a hem is very simple. If it fits you everywhere by the length, you can always have it altered.

JCPenney has a lot of dresses, lots of variety
Macy's is usually pretty good
TJMaxx has lot of nice things for a good price
Kohls always has great things
oh... being 5' tall and in the 8th grade is not that short, there is a lot of girls in my 8th grade class that are about that height =)

My favorite stores to shop are Abercrombie, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, and Holister. I am not sure if you can get a dress there. But you probably can find a cute skirt and shirt. They are a bit on the expensive side though.

OK your 5 foot so you should go to the mall and look for a place called lil' angel it has really cute and really hot dresses too.

Last year I had the cutest dress for my 8Th grade dance I got it from Rainbow, you can also try Dillard's and JC Pennies.

Go to Macys, JcPennys..Debs..target even sometimes carries cute ones..There are some on www.gojane.com that are super cheap but make sure you choose one that is appropriate for junior high :-) have fun

I don't know where you live, but three great stores that we shop at here are Maurice's, Mariposa, and Deb's. I have found great dresses/outfits there for myself and my friends (our heights range from 5'-5'11"). Good luck!

You can get dresses at places like Kohls, JC Penny's and they are usually pretty good prices.
