I recently purchased a HP Pavilion DV6000, it runs incredibly slow, and often times unresponsive. How do I improve the performance, I understand that I need to upgrade the ram to 2 GB. The video card is subpar, can I upgrade it, somehow?

Updating the video card won't help you much in terms of system performance the way you're describing it. I would get more RAM (the 2 GB you mentioned), run anti-virus AND anti-spyware programs, possibly even do a system restore to the earlies point possible if the anti-virus/spyware programs don't work. If the problem still persists after system restore, consult HP's website. Your laptop seems new so good IT help is probably available.

This new W7 function is WHY the form-call producer internet site's do no longer record W7 gadget drivers.
