How comfortable do you feel about teachers playing an active role in curriculum development?

Would you prefer to have these decisions made by others?

I think both teachers should play an active role in curriculum development. But, I also think that individuals who have completed the program should participate as well (especially college level programs) to improve learning.

Others like who? The teachers see better than anyone what their students are capable of, and more importantly what skill set them come to class with from lower grades, other school districts, etc.

They shouldn't be solely responsible for the curriculum, that is WAY too much power, especially for some tenured individuals, but that's another gripe for another day. They should definitely be involved in the process.
