No. As an ambitious person I think I'd just be more pessimistic. I'm an optimist deep down but can be overly negative at times... if anything, I think I'll achieve more once I gain more confidence and just go for it.

It's important to be realistic, but if you never expect to reach higher, you're just holding yourself back.

I usually set the bar a little lower than I would want it. It saves me from constant disappointment. I really don't expect much, so it's not hard to keep me happy.
