I did like the movie, and found myself engaged in the storyline, however I think their are other, better movies out right now and I've been advising friends to wait for the DVD release.
Jim Carrey put in a pretty good performance, better than some of his other non-slapstick work, ie Cable Guy, Truman Show. He still came across as funny but it was genuine. The rest of the cast was mediocre so its a good thing the focus was on him. The story gets a little convoluted but if you don't worry about it too much and just go along for the ride you'll enjoy it. And whether you're a math whizz or not, and believe me, I'm not, its still fun to try to pick out all of the occurrences of the number 23 in the movie, some the characters don't even catch.

I liked the movie. It was not scary at all. It is more of a thriller than scary. It was not the best movie I have ever seen, but it was pretty good. I did not mind paying to see it in theatres.

Absolutely dreadful movie. Jim Carey was the only thing redeeming about it. The plot was ridiculous, the other characters you couldn't care less about, and the overall picture was just plain bad.
