What is Iran's view on the 'Iraq crisis'?

they seem to be worried. but iran isn't worried that the us might attack them. they are more worried about the iraqi people. as we see every day there are tens of innocent people being killed over there and this is not of iranian's interest. plus after the kidnapping of iranian officials in iraq and turkey, they are more worried about what would happen to them and are trying everything to get them back. but i guess the real interest of iran goes into religeous reasons. most of the Shiat Imams are buried in iraq and there is disrespect towards them (or their holy shrines i should say) by americans. the bombing of the 9th Shiat Imam's holy shrine, last year caused a lot of grief to iranians and Shiats in general. and since they see all this as the result of the presence of the american troops in iraq, they so do not like what is going on over there!

If the oil reserves of Iran and Iraq are united, the reserves will be bigger than Saudi. This is the biggest prize currently available in an energy hungry world. Iran has so many soldiers willing to die for glory that whoever tries to take them on will have a big numbers challenge!! The world is thinking that these two US carriers in the Gulf must be carrying some very powerful weapons. The current government of Iraq is sympathetic toward Iran. Russia and China are making signs of disapproval toward the US over the issue. Iran appears to be holding a few aces right now. I read on an American web-site that the US invasion of Iran will take place within 30 days. We will wait and see.
