USGS Topo Maps.

Online try http://terraserver.microsoft.com/
Enter city and state then click go.
Click on Topo Map.

Zoom in until you can read elevation contour lines, most maps are 20 feet per line and should have a bench mark elevation on some of them. Good Luck.
