i saw the trailer and might like to see it but it has been getting bad reviews and generally films under 2 hours not all that good.

Most definitely, whether you're into comics or not, the pure brilliance of cage's funny and cynical performance has to be seen. As well as the spectacular graphics and scenes shown in this film, they work the cgi perfectly with real action scenes and in general the movie is visually stunning with a good plot and good performances all round. Although it's horribly "hero" like but it adds to the brilliance with the over the top gestures.
A definite must-see! One of the best films around at the moment.

Ghost Rider was an okay movie. It wasn't up there with Spiderman or X-Men or even Hulk or Fantastic Four as far as comic movies go. It wasn't the worst comic movie I've seen, however. It had some decent effects, but the dialogue was weak. I would wait for dvd on this one.

Are you a fan of cartoons? Do you know the character or back story. These are not necessarily important but if you are not a fan of cartoon movies in general don't go.
It is a "popcorn film" and is not outstanding. However it is a good film and a lot of fun to watch. You should go see it.

yes i thought it was great . everyone has their own opinion some people will love it some will hate it but its worth seeing . its a night out .not all films under 2 hours are bad some are just straight to the point and not getting dragged out for hours that they end up sending you to sleep . hope you do go to see it .

It is from the Comic. It is done very faithfully, the characters are somewhat scary, there's a lot of skulls and Matrix style fights
I saw 10 year olds in there. It's pretty stylized, so not realistically scary.
If you like Nick Cage , you will like it.
It has a strong moral theme.

Ignore the reviewers in this case. The movie critic in our local paper here absolutely **trashed** Ghost Rider. Last weekend my g/f and I went to see it, and it was pretty good. I think I'm going to e-mail that critic and tell him not to be sucking on lemons when he writes his reviews. :-P

Well I saw it on saturday and i liked it. It has good special effects, the plot is very interesting but in the middle of the movie it comes a little slow but later it recovers. if you like comic movies like Spiderman, batman or superman you're gonna like the ghostrider. :)

Well, if it is a bad movie, it looks like by not seeing it on the big screen you will have missed its best feature - the special effects.

i watched it the other night with my son - on copy lol and i have to say it was great a good all rounder film for the family not too gory or rude and is mildly comical. if you like underworld and that sort of thing you will like it

my eldest son went to watch it the other week he's faddy with films but said it was really good and enjoyed it but did say it was a bit cheesy something to do with the devil i will be definately going to see it as i'm a huge fan of nicholas cage
