I don't think it is the vitamin that is making you tired. I think it is the pregnancy that is making you tired.

Actually it is more common. I had forgot to take my prenatal and I had all this energy and when I took the next day back to feeling tired and fatigued. So it's not just due you the pregnancy. More and more woman are having the same side affect. It would be best to start taking at night. I already started taking it at night and I haven't had the issue.

If you are still in your first trimester, you'd be sleepy no matter what! In fact, it'd be worse without the vitamins! I quit taking my prenatal vitamins because they made more nauseous than i already was...i was so bad, i had to go on anti-nausea medication to stop my constant vomiting! Good luck to you, and hope you "wake-up" soon! :)

i didnt know that prenatal vitamins have an affect on being tired, i never had this problem I think it may be more that you are tired from the meal and being pregnant.

The pregnancy and the point you are at is most likely causing the fatigue, not the pills themselves. :) You could be iron deficient, but they test for that until the 2nd trimester. Ask your doc about taking iron supplements.

They make me tired also and I m not pregnant. It is possible that it is actually treating a nutrient deficiency in you and you re tired from the increased production of red blood cells and metabolic demand.

I think it's more to do with being pregnant, it's the hormones draining you, not vitamins.

This may not help but my doctor told me to take them before bed, but that was because I had really bad morning sickness, and I have taken them before bed ever sense.
