It matters on the direction the car is facing when you flip over. If you are facing the opposite direction, yes it will. If it is facing the same direction you were traveling in, then no, it wouldn't. Now depending upon how deep the ditch is from the road surface itself, it may think you took a wrong turn and help guide you back onto the road. Now wouldn't that be funny. You are upside down in a smoking vehicle, and your navigation system keeps telling you to make the next available right or left turn. LMAO

If you flipped a car upside down in a ditch there is a good chance that you sat nav would be buried in your head.

If it's purely a GPS-based system, it doesn't know which direction your car is pointing. It figures out your direction by comparing where you are to where you were. Assuming the antenna doesn't lose the satellite signal, it would show you as stopped with the arrow pointing in the last direction you were making progress.

i think it the two God or an angel he despatched to guard you. I do exactly no longer see a individual questioning to coach off the ignition while their automobile's the different way up in a ditch and that they have got a concussion. a minimum of that's what i like to think of.

It wouldn't be able to track the sattelites as it needs to have a line of sight to at least 3. So signal lost

It would lose its signal 'cause it has to have clear sight of 4 satellites to even know where you are. If it was still able to track sats. it would register your present position and indicate your progress as "stopped"
