It worked fine for three weeks and then I kept getting the limited connectivity message. I've been told to uninstall Norton Internet Security, then Internet Explorer Version 7 as apparently these could affect connectivity. However, this did not solve the problem. If I unplug the livebox and then plug it in again it connects but I lose connection if I switch off my computer and sometimes if I close Internet Explorer. At other times it just disconnects even if I leave my computer and IE on. Can anyone help as I'm going out of my mind?

Is this xbox live you are referring to? If so then I suggest you go to the Microsoft Website for this issue. That is my first reccomendation.

Now, are you hooked up wirelessly or are you wired? Does a cable run from your xbox unit or does it have a usb or other type of adapter? If it is wireless I suggest you wire it directly to your network as this is the best configuration for the xbox live unit.

Now, I am unsure why your browser would be a problem for your xbox. If I have the product correct that is. lol I am also unsure why Norton would have anything to do with this, unless it is a Firewall problem. If it the firewall you may need to open a port in order to get the media xbox to connect properly with your network. Sometimes you can go into the Routers setup page and open ports there, even temporarily while you are actually using the xbox.

Try going into your routers setup page and seeing if you can configure the firewall to allow the xbox connectivity.

Again, your best bet will be to go to the Microsoft xbox site and following whatever advice is there. You can also post quesitons too the newsgroup for xbox live. There are experts there who will be happy to help you with your problems.

Good luck and lots of fun with your machine.
