Jhonny Peralta. Betancourt is an outstanding defensive SS, but his bat is very average at best during this stage of development. Peralta has more power potential at this point in his career, so go with him.

As long as you don't get penalized for strikeouts, I'd take Peralta like most of the others answering this question. Betancourt will get you a dozen or so SB's, but Peralta wins in the power department hands down. He should drive in 80+ runs in Cleveland's lineup this year, and could poke 20 out of the yard to boot.

If you have enough speed, it's automaticly Peralta. He will give you 2x's amount of power as Betancourt.
Well actually, no matter what pick Peralta. With a developing Cleveland team, the opportunity for Peralta to succeed to greater lengths will occur

again, it depends on the needs/wants of your team. Peralta if you want power, and betancourt if you want speed, defense, and average. both are really good, but peralta will put up better power numbers

jhonny peralta. jhonny was supposed to break out last year, but he didn't quite make the cut. However, he still has a better bat then Betancourt and still could break out an outstanding year.
