it really all depends on what you're into..
..at Walt Disney World there's much more variety, considering that it is made up of 4 parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios & Animal Kingdom).
Magic Kingdom - cutesy rides & a few thrill - Mad Hatter's Tea Party, Space Mountain...
Epcot - interactive rides & exhibit type areas - Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Mission Space, World Showcase (France, Morocco, Japan, etc.)...
MGM - shows & thrill rides - Beauty & the Beast show, Light, Motor, Action! show, Tower of Terror...
Animal Kingdom - safaris, few thrill rides & shows - Dinosaur, Kali White River Rapids, Finding Nemo the Musical...
-- i haven't been to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure since 8th grade, but i'll try my best --
Universal Studios -
Shrek 4-D(theatre attraction),
E.T. Adventure(slow vehicle ride),
MIB Alien Attack(similar to Buzz Lightyear ride @ Magic Kingdom),
Revenge of the Mummy (rollercoaster),
Twister(standing theatre)
etc...
Islands of Adventure -
Deuling Dragons(rollercoaster)
The Cat in the Hat (cutesy vehicle ride)
Spider-man(3-D simulator)
Jurassic Park(water ride w/ drop)
Incredible Hulk Coaster
etc...

Hi,
I'm just coming back from a trip to Orlando and I was quite disappointed by Universal Studios.
Apart from the Mummy ride, you mostly sit and watch movies that are more or less in 3D or '4D' (Shrek, Terminator, Jimmy Neutron, Back to the Future) or things going wrong around you (Jaws, Earthquake, Twister).
I would recommend bypassing Universal Studios and instead going to the other Universal park : Islands of Adventure. If you like thrilling rides, this is definitely where you must go !
In the end, as it has been said, choosing between Disney and Universal depends on what you're looking for. But consider Universal's Islands of Adventure rather than Studios.

WDW by a mile! Although I do enjoy Universal's Islands of Adventure Park, which is right next door to Universal Studios. They have the best roller coasters!
However, I find Universal Studios a tad boring. It can be seen in less than a day. Where as with WDW, you have 4 parks and 2 water parks to choose from!

Universal Studios because I've been 2 both and Walt Disney has like only 20 roller coasters and Universal studios has 50/50. Also U. Studios is sooooooooo big!!!!
Have fun whichever you choose!

It all depends on the ages of the people accompanying you. If they are older, say in their teens, then Universal. If they are younger, then definitely Disney World. When they win the Super Bowl, where do they say they are going to go? Universal Studios?

i like them both....Universal Studios has more thrill rides and stuff. There is no way to can see all of disney world in one day or even 2. If u go to disney world, I woul skip epcot...its kinda a bore....unless u have alot of money to spend on usless stuff. The magic Kingdom and the waterpark is cool...havnt been to the animal kingdom.

I think neither is better...they're different.
Universal has alot of high action movie based rides.
Disney has a number of different parks- Animal Kingdom has safari tours and animal walking tours, EPCOT is great for the food of countries around the world, Magic Kingdom has rides for little kids to adults. MGM is fun too!
Personally, I'd choose Disney but if you could somehow fit both in it would be fun.

If you go to Universal & stay at a Loews hotel, you will get a special pass that avoids the long lines. You'll get to go on a lot more rides that way.
