Does anybody know what's going on with the Halo movie?

I know it's on hiatus right now, but I also heard that they started filming. Does anybody have anymore info? thanks.

Yep, Peter Jacksson started filming it, but the problem is, that he still has a contract with New Line Cinema, they want him to film the Hobbit movie

I heard they were in pre-production but as of right now it's on permanent hiatus.
