hmm i dont think there is any romance. i saw the drama and there was just this one kissing scene betweent he main character and a grl. but then she was dying so....no i dont think there is ne romance.
its just bout this guy who finds a notebook that belonged to a death god and now its his and he gets to kill people by writing their name in the book. and then it goes on to him trying to make a perfect world and outwitting the police and the super detective guy L.
its not that scary...

No. There is little to no romance in this series at all.
If you are looking for a cute romance story then you are looking for the wrong thing.
There is a girl in the story who does like the main character, but it's very complicated.
If you like suspense series with cat-and-mouse or cop-and-robber type scenarios that are a little dark, a little dangerous, and well thought out, though, you will enjoy Death Note. :)
