It's difficult to answer a question that is directed about what other people think about us. But if I was uncomfortable becasue I'm cool and the person I'm dating is not, then it would show in my behavior that I felt that way and others would likely react to it. But the way I see it....if I'm cool, then they're cool cuz they're with me.
Never give your power away. You give your power away when you care what other people think about you when it influences how you think about yourself and/or affect any decisions you might make.

You will be judged until the day you die and there really isnt anything you can do about it, unfortunately... But if you really like this person why should it matter? Society is always concerned about social status... And I dont know if you're still in school or not, but if you are, don't let that stop you from being with someone that can potentially be that one person you can spend the rest of you life with... Judging happens and I'm almost 100% sure you judge as well... But maybe dating someone that isnt so popular and you are will start to change the demographic... Hope this helps...

If you were such a person you would be a better person than those around you. If you were to be judged, which unfortunately is quite obviously the way things go, it really doesn't matter, what matters is the way you feel. Go with what you feel is the right thing to do and don't worry about what other people think. It is so much better to be an individual then to go with what the popular people say, you can lose out on so much of the world if you worry about what others think.

People judge you no matter what don't miss out on a good person because your concerned what others will say. Also don't date this person if your not ready to people public because I'm sure your friend has feelings too and don't want to feel like an outkast from the person their with!

I would because I am married. Apart from that, I don't really see why. But then I haven't been in High School for about 41 years, and when I was in High school I didn't know what it was to be popular. So I really can't understand the problem.
