Is it Dirk Nowitzki or Steve Nash? all the rest in my view fall short as their teams winning percentage counts (Maurice Brooks should answer about the team winning percentage counts or not)

Dirk Nowitzki is this year's MVP. He's the best player on the best team. I like how he's more of a vocal leader this year then he was in the past.

Defiantly Nowitzki. He can't defend like Kevin Garnett, but Garnett is no threat to drop 45 every night out, unlike Nowitzki (even in Dallas' walk-up offense, currently the third slowest in the NBA). He's by far the most deserving of being named MVP.

steve nash hands down, steve can drop 45 any night but he doesn't need too, he can pass so well, just like pistol pete used to, throwing out 11 assists every night is 22 points right there (not including threes) he makes his team so much better amare and marion wouldn't be all stars were it not for nash, Joah Howard would be more of an allstar is Nowitzki were gone, it's definately nash guys
