I find Rosie to be a breath of fresh air. She brings her wit and humor to a show that was struggling for quite a long time. Look at the ratings for the show from before she joined and that has to show you how well people feel she's doing. Many may dislike her open, honest answers but she is an open book. I believe for every "1" person who dislikes her there are "2" others who love her. She's a comedian being funny and I totally get her. I would love to see her again on her own show but she's already said she doesn't have the time for it because her family comes first. How many parents would put their kids first? Not many. Whatever Rosie does in the future I will be there to watch and enjoy.
Hope the helps..........

Yes, Rosie does deserve to have an opinion, and to voice it, however, she does not have the right to shout down others who do not agree with her. Rosie is a Liberal Bully.
And it has NOTHING to do with her being a female either.
To say that people don't like her simply because she is a woman with an opinion is lazy and naive.
Rosie is using the show for her bully-pulpit. To push her views on others, and Barbara is letting her do it!
I can't stand her, NOT because she is a 'woman with an opinion', it is because she is obnoxious and pushy!!

Unfortunately television requires attention. goor or bad? And Rosie is an attention go-getter. She brings just a loud mouth to the view table. She doesn't have a qualifications such as Star Jones, Lawyer, Barbara Walters, Journalist. It's ok to have ordinary people to co-host but when Rosie doens't even allow her other Co-hosts to finish speaking their opinions -- it's just a Jerry Springer show in Armani clothes. By the way, the "Happy Pills" rosie is on, are just that. She doesn't like to call them that but hey, I have just as much medical background as she and I my opinion is counted equally to hers so they are "Happy Pills", maybe she should take more of them to feel happy or make us happy by popping 20 or so at a time.

It wouldn't matter if she said the sky is blue it would depend on how she presented the argument. Rosie does not like people's views that conflict with her own. She is not being brave in what she says, most of what she rants about is public opinion anyway...its the fact that Elizabeth usually does not agree with her.
It makes her mad that someone does not share her view on the show.
I miss Meredeth.

Rosie is a little strange, but she brings a different flavor to the show. Most people enjoy controversy and most people love to watch a show just to see what one will do next. I bet the ratings are not doing bad since she joined even though she's controversial.

this answer just might get me banned as i keep violating the guidelines (allegedly), but here goes: ms. o'donnell is nothing more than a sideshow to generate some much needed blood pressure for the anemic audience of "The View."
her behavior as of late should be of no surprise as she really hasn't swayed off her 'norm'. she's obnoxious, very opinionated, and doesn't allow anyone to get a word in if they should happen to contradict her opinions. i perceive this to be nothing but an act such as that of howard stern. she is just there for shock/antigonistic fodder. nothing else. i wouldn't mind if she could have an ounce of objectivity, but she doesn't. she just spews and spews like old faithful, but at least you want to see the geyser!!
in time, hopefully, she will wither away like all the other freakshows and not be a nightly demon on my television screen. (at least i can hope)
let the thumbs down begin!!!

Rosie's always wrong.
She's politically socialist and sexually lesbian. What is there in her life that follows sound ethics or morals?
Even Jesus anticipated Rosie O'Donnel. Didn't he describe those on their way to eternal damnation as being on the "Broad's Road to hell"?

Rosie is just weird on that show. I don't think she should be on there. It doesn't seem like she is equipped to CO-host a show with four other women, she is used to having her own show

I admire Rosie because she's not afraid to speak her mind. It's a shame that women apparently aren't allowed to speak their minds without getting criticized for it. We do have free speech, you know!!
