My daughter was recently diagnosed with four chemical allergies (skin allergies). Two of these chemicals, colophony and quaternium-15, are found in most shampoos, lotions, detergents etc.

Does Arm & Hammer work well on clothes because that is what we are trying out on her stuff. (we're still searching for what works best for her)

It works well for me and I have chronic hives. There is also some lotions and shampoos, conditioners, soap, & bath oil you should know about called Vanicream. It is free and clear of most allergens. The products are made by Pharmaceutical Specialties, Inc.

I found several products that do not contain quaternium-15. I wanted to remove those chemicals from my house, because I knew that they were not good for my 5 and 7 year olds. A friend told me about a company that sells all natural products (including laundry detergent) that do not contain these chemicals. I was so excited. I'm now getting my detergent cheaper than I was buying it at Wal-Mart, and it doesn't have the quaternium in it!!! What a relief. If you want more info, just e-mail me. You can also check out the site below. Good luck!!! (the company also offers shampoo and such without quaternium-15) For those of you unfamiliar with this chemical, it is a form of formaldehyde. It's even in most toothpastes. Yuck!!!

LOVE THIS STUFF!!! LOVE THIS STUFF!!!

You will find that it REALLY gets your clothes clean, and a box will literally last forever, compared to other detergants. I'm finding about one box per person per year!! Awesome! (The 120 load box, that is. Figuring you do one load per person approximately, every 3 days.)

This is by far the best detergent I have ever used.
