i know that chris is noun, gave is verb, class is noun.
monday is noun, week is noun, worst is adjective

me -- pronoun, direct object
an -- article
A -- in this case, it would be a noun, since it's a grade

Grammar is spelled with an "ar" not "er."

Monday is the worst day of the week.
Monday = subject
is= verb
worst=answer which one=adverb
day = direct object
of= preposition
of the week = prepositional phrase.

Chris gave me an A in his class.
Chris =subject

me= indirect object
A = object
in= preposition
