well full metal alchemist has about 16 volumes or something and its reallllyyy good. but if u want something cute try fruits basket, but that has like 20 volumes but they are short. but if those dont work for you just try www.mangarun.com it has any manga u can imagine and good quality.

I don't know but there is one, that I don't know you if you would call it a magna, but it is cheifly responsible for magna coming to the US.
I would highly reccommend the Elfquest series by Wendy and Richard Pini. Their main storyline involving the characters of Cutter and his band the Wolfriders is only about 15 volumes long in their graphic novel form.
The basic plot is this, you have a elf chief named Cutter who throuch circumstances of fate, is forced to leave his home of generations and flees into the tunnels of the trolls. Through deceit he and his tribe are foreced from their and into the desert where they eventually find other elves and where he meets his soon to be lifemate Leetah. An elf healer who is 600 years older then him.
Through her, he begins to dream about finding the legendary home of the high ones. The forerunners of their kind and sets off for an adventure of a lifetime with his best friend the womanizer Skywise.
Eventually Leetah and his tribe follows, and they run into a villainess that in my opinion...makes Naraku look like kittens
But there is romance, thanks to Cutter, A little bit of Comedy thanks to Skywise, and plenty of adventure. It is one of my favorites and also highly recommende dby the National Library of Congress.

Death Note. It's not finished but almost all the volumes are out. There are 12 volumes total with a 13th one that sums things up.
