Why can't they design cars like they used to; during the 50s,60s, & 70s.

Every auto maker has at least one vehicle model that is butt ugly. Unfortunately there seems to be more and more of them every year.

All major corporations take marketing polls to test concept cars. They base most of their designs on these polls. New concepts are thought of by engineers and designers and the like based on the cars that are already on the market today.

the only cars i see that look cheesy these days are the new malibu's and the ford focus but these are modern times so things change.

i'm sorry, but i just can't see myself tooling about town in a
car that has tail fins.
