Being a teenager (and even in the early twenties for some people) is what makes your complexion oily.
If you follow a skin-care regimen for oily skin it can help (a cleanser and astringent).
You could look for a neutral or almost colorless pressed powder in the make-up department, apply it mornings, and maybe it would blot some of the oil for a good part of the day. It shouldn't be heavy - just a light-coverage one that nobody could tell was even there.
This isn't too imaginative, but you could bring a little pack of tissues and just find a way to discreetly blot the oilier places at some point during the day.
Maybe if you brought a couple of individually wrapped moist towelettes (with alcohol) you could find some way to discreetly wipe your face a couple of times.

The best solution is Toner, toning your skin keeps it less oily. Try using a face wash for oily skin and apply a mud mask twice a week that should really help...dont over moisturize and use oil free makeup and other products to give your skin a matte effect..hope it works out! take care

well all i can say is wash you face in the morning and at night, maybe even after school if you would like.
But the main thing that causes oily skin for teens is, when you are in school and you rest your head on hand (or any other ways your hands come in contact with your face) and even if you have bangs the oil from you hair can go onto your skin.

As an esthetician, I would say I agree to what everybody said on here, yet I would warn to make sure not to strip your face, because it can trigger your skin to produce more oil. And although an oily skin can be bothering, just know that by getting older the oilproduction will slow down, and that the oil is your fountain of youth, it will preserve your skin better than those with dry skin. Find a good balance to deal with your oilproduction without stripping your skin dry, and you will age gracefully!

well first of all, change your make up to all mineral make up like bare minerals. then, make sure you wash your face with really good face wash. i recomend Aveeno skin replenisher. and do not put on to much moisterizer, but still use it as your daily routine. and keep your hands away from your face!! there is alot of oil in your hands and if you touch your face, the oil will go into your face causing oily skin. Also, do a face mask weekly. it will help dry out your skin but it will help you enhance your tone and complexion. Aveda makes a good one. i had the same problem as u and then i changed all my stuff to Aveeno and bare minerals and it worked!! hope i helped!

mainly your hands! your hands have more oil than anything else on your body...so try and keep away from like touching your face as much as you can or just make sure ure hands are washed and clean. you can get rid of an oily face by using a good scrub like st ives and then using a good oil free moisturizer like olay(the purple one)...but this all depends if you wear makeup or not...if you dont...u can use like those neutrogena oil wipes or whatever..just scrub and keep it clean but not tooo clean it gets dry!

use a face wash and moisturizer for oily skin. mary kay has great products that specialize in your skin care needs. they even have oil blotters for during the day, while you are at school.
a lot of people think that if you have oily skin, you shouldn't use moisturizer...you should. get a balncing moisturizer and use it in your daily skin care routine!
