cheer try outs are april 6th and i dont know if i am ready!! i have been trying to get my backhandspring since i didnt make it last year(i can throw it). this is so important to me i get butterflies when i think about it! any advice would make me super happy!! i have never cheered in my life but i did the clinic last year and i like to be a flier. (i am not scared) I watch the girls at the cheer gym where i tumble and my best freind is a cheer leader there. i have tried to have her help but she is not a very good coach. lol love her though. I know basically the jumps, and the positions or whatever i just.....i dont know. well thank you guys for any help!!! i know i sound like a nervous wreck!!

Well, I only cheered one year and it sounds like tryouts at your school are super tough!!

My advice is this. practice practice practice. You will not have time to feel nervous if you're practicing. Your skills will keep improving and you will get better.

Remember to stretch before and after you work out and drink plenty of water and eat good meals.

Those are the best tools you can have toward your goal.
