Where the hell does it all go. It seems like only yesterday that I was 10 years younger and I haven't noticed the last ten years go by. Plus I don't recognise the bloke in the mirror anymore. Has time sped up or something. Don't you realise it is half way through March ALREADY. Is it just me or is it all passing too quickly these days. When I was a boy summers seemed endless and now I don't notice them passing. What is going on???

If you find where it goes, let me know. Trust me, the older you get the faster it goes. Just yesterday, I was taking my daughter to school for the first time. She's now 35 and has two kids of her own. (hard to believe since I'm only 39---I avoid mirrors at all cost though).

Time dialates as we grow older.
When you were four, an hour was a loooong time and a day seemed like forever because in the scheme of things you hadn't seen many hours or days to use as your frame of reference.
As you get older, your frame of reference can expand. You can kill an hour and not even notice it. A week flies by when you've seen a thousand or more. And years start to stack up when you've seen 50 or more.
For a giant sequoia, which live on the earth for 1000s of years, a decade goes by in a blink.
And then one day you find, ten years has got behind you
No one told you when to run
You missed the starting gun.

If we could laze around, and play all day, as we did when we were kids, and not have to worry and stress about the "adult" problems we have to deal with, perhaps time would pass a little slower. It does seem to be directly porportional to our age, though. Weird. I think we should all get to take summers off, and play and build tree houses. Work is important, but we dont get enough time to relax and enjoy life.

it's the weight of the world crushing your spirit. just the other day i was thinking about something that happened to me when i was 15 and now i'm twice the age i was then. it sucks but i can't find the brakes to slow it down. i just try to enjoy what i can b/c no matter how old u r your always gonna get older and complain how great it was even 2 years ago.

Yes, time is flying by. The older I get, the faster it goes and I hate that!!! There is never enuf time, so we have to really make the most of each day, right? I'm trying....bye.

We make our lives too busy. Nobody sits in front of the barbershop playing checkers anymore. It's always go go go

word made up along time ago.
You only think time has gone by fast because you have forgotton alot of your memories.
Actually humans live a long time.
Dogs live around 10years and thats a long time.
