I do not know any poems about fashions in the eighties. It never occured to me that anyone would write one. So I'll write one now.

I have never heard of a poem about the fashion of the 1980's; we're probably all trying to forget we were ever involved! How's this:
Big hair, out to there
Shagged and Fro'd
and the Farrah 'Doo
The Leisure Suit, the Go-Go boot
Wide lapels and a chunky shoe
Rip the shirt, micro mini skirt
Underwear is outerwear
Acid jeans, gotta pump ya shoe
Punky Brewster and Polyester
Videos, Movies, VH1,
Copy cat fashion in '81.
Good luck with your search!

80's Fashion Poem...
Big old shirts.
Converse covered in dirt.
My paint covered cloths
or the overalls with holes.
Shirts with hoods,
bangles and belts,
half of my stuff looked like it was made of felt.
The newest name brands,
and all my different colored headbands.
Padded shoulders
and jewelry the size of boulders.
It really didn't matter.
The cloths were thrown together in a clatter.
My 80's cloths were what you made them.
How you wore them and your own style.
Just remember don't wear anything of plain textiles.
