i started off getting the W32/Zlob.gen1 virus, and then I had everything removed by a computer person at verizon help me get rid of it. But now the last few days this thing pops up now stating virus has been found the w32/zlob.gen1 in my d:/recovery volumen something in that matter, but when I do a virus scan there is nothing found.

It depends on what kind of virus protection you have . I would suggest that you update your virus definitions or go to your providers website and see what they say about that virus. Another thing you could try is to type the file name into a search on your computer and find and delete, but I wouldn't recommend . Zlob is a backdoor which modifies some files and changes your computer settings. It also may download additional software. If your antivirus program find zlob it doesn't mean that the program will eliminate this parasite from your computer. Use anti-spyware programs to delete Zlob or you can use manual Zlob removal instructions.

THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING TO ME, IT'S SO ANNOYING, I DON'T THINK THERE'S ANY THREAT AS THE SCAN SAYS THE INFECTION HAS BEEN REMOVED, IT'S JUST SO ANNOYING, THIS BALLOON IS POPPING UP EVERY 2 SECONDS WITH THE SAME MESSAGE AND I'D LOVE TO KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF IT?

Maybe the warning wasn't removed from your computer. Like my friend when his norton told him about trojan.peacomm he got AVG the one you pay for and he didnt uninstall norton so his norton still warns maybe that or maybe it can't be removed from computers that's the best I can do sorry.

What are you using to do a virus scan? Try this website. http://www.trendmicro.com/en/home/us/personal.htm It's what I use on my computer.

or use other antivirus programs
or format that drive
