has to be Dirk...the team will have the best record in the league, and dirk has shown to be a true leader. his numbers dont lie either. putting up more then 25 points a game while shooting 50% from the field, 40% from the 3 point line, and 90% from the FT line. add to that 10 boards a steal and a block....its very evident that the best player on the best team deserves the nod.

in at second i say Nash. he has kept the team workin well putting up career high's in points and assists. its been a while since a plyer has put up more then 10 assists per game and i think that will come to his favour with selections

third i say kobe. i know most ppl hate him. and i too was once a hater. but i admire the fact that he has come to embrace the team concept. for a superstar to pass off shots to average players as he tries to make his team better, i think its a sign of a superstar....too bad theyre not makin the shots though

Dirk Nowitzki. He has become a true leader of the Mavericks, who should win the NBA championship. While Steve Nash is still getting better, I think his injuries hurt his chances of getting a third MVP. Don't get me wrong, Nash is still a phenominal player, but Dirk is winning games for the Mavs.

dirk. i dont think they will want to give it to steve nash 3 times in a row. so dirk. but dirk deserves it more than nash anyway. kobes basically out of the race bc the way the lakers have been playing lately. and no one in the east is going to win because you actually have to win games to be considered
