Some essential oil (lavender or patchouli etc.) poured into the bottom of a tall thin decorative jar or vase...then insert a few shishkabob sticks (wooden ones) into the jar or vase and the oil will soak into the sticks and spread smell through the house...turn the sticks every few days to give the scent a boost. It lasts for months!
