Last week I bench pressed and the next day when I woke up i was extremely sore. On that day, my brother decided it would be funny to hold me down and punch me in the chest. Every one of his punches hit my left pectoral muscle, (the sore one). Now, two weeks later, i am not sore at all. In fact the soreness left a week after getting hit. But now, I cannot flex my left pectoral muscle. I flex my pecs and my right one comes out and is hard but my left one doesnt even move and is very "squishy", my finger sinks into it. I feel no pain and can move my arm but i cannot flex my left pectoral. I hav also lost a great deal of strenght in my left arm.

Is it possible to get muscle scarring the way i said? Is this muscle scarring? If so how does it heal? And, can scar tissue be exercise?

Well, if the muscle is soft and spongy, is not painful, and does not respond when you try to use it, one possible explanation is a complete tear of the tendon that attaches the pec to the humerus.

Someone qualified should be looking at this for you, a PT or an orthopedic surgeon. I don't know that I would bother with a GP, unless you have to for insurance reasons.

Good luck!
