I was around in that time, what a funny way of asking if there are any people here that are real old, ha-ha, I am in my late 50`s, was not exactly a hippy, because I actually went to viet nam, but when I got out, I lived in San Francisco and my girl friends, all 9 of them were definitely hippies, so I guess I kind of turned into one. You can interview me if you like, just e mail me from my profile.

I am only 39 so I wasn't really a hippie but when I was 6 it was my lifes desire! I wanted to live in a van and travel all over the USA going to concerts and smoking pot.
Instead I joined the USAF, gave then 10 years and now I work environmental safety for an airport.
Good luck on your report!

Wow...like Joplin and Hendrix....and yes, I was at Woodstock - non-stop party.
Hippie, well sort of. Interview? Like when we burned draft cards, sit-ins, campus strikes, long hair and ripped up jeans, and let us not forget free love...I think that sums it up about right.
