You will only be able to connect the infrared on your mobile phone to your laptop if your laptop has an infrared port. Unfortunately this is a rare feature on laptops. the only manufacturer that still includes them is dell. On dell in order to enable the infrared port you have to get into the BIOS, when you first start up your computer it will indicate the key you need to hit to enter the BIOS. Then change the option for IRDA or infrared port to enabled. When you have your mobile device active and ready to send something via infrared to your laptop just line up the two infrared ports and your laptop will automatically recognize the phone.

well i would check the manual you goto with the mobile since very few people still use infra-red connection they either use bluetooth or datatransfer usb cable.

sure u can.................. yet i dont think of velocity is passable........ yet i dont be attentive to ur requirment..... above of then velocity is count on your cellular provider service
