I'm not pregnant. I just need to find a name that Story could be short for. I don't want nicknames for Story I want a name which Story could be a nickname for. I cannot come up with any. It's no big deal if no one can think of any but does anyone have an idea? Thanks.

Hmm, that is a tough one. Maybe you could go with Storlind. Yeah. That would work. But Storlind is kind of wierd. So maybe... The only other thing I could think of is Storiand. That's kinda cute. I love the name/nickname Story though. Good Luck!!!

A nickname has nothing to do with the name in some cases. My son's name is Brandon. He's called Skuky (Skuk-e). Clueless how my hubby arrived with it, but it's what we call him all the time. I know a few people whom have nicknames that have nothing to do with their given name. It's all in the family as to what the child will be nicknamed.

You could use Tori. Maybe her great-grandmother could be from Spain and always pronounced it ehStory. Just a thought. Esther could also work. Of course plenty of people have nicknames that don't have anything to do with their given name, they just got them from some event, or series of events that led to a particular nickname.

Astoria comes to mind. A funny one could be History! Wistoria or Wystoria could be one. This is a real challenge. Why don't you just use Story as the actual name. I like it as it is!!!
