Posada - and it's not close.

He had a bit of a resurgance in 2006, and I am sure he will regress in 2007, but he did hit .277 with 23 home runs and 93 RBI last year.

LoDuca hit .318 with 5 home runs and 49 RBI. Posada would have to have a significant injury in order to not put up those numbers and even then, if he played in only 100 games, he'd probably have more than 5 home runs and 49 RBI.

To be fair, LoDuca did score 15 more runs (80-65) than Posada, but that was solely based on hitting in the #2 spot in the Mets lineup. That will change in 2007 as Randolph has been trying out David Wright in the #2 spot so far this spring.

I fully expect Posada to put up better numbers accross the board, with the possible exception of batting average.

I would pick up Posada.

Posada has a better line up. (get more rbi's and get more runs) IN a better BallPark and is on a better team which will obtain more wins.

Posada's stats 80 25 85 3 with .276
LaDuca stats 80 10 60 0 with .293

Same runs more homers for Posada and Rbi's same ammount of Gimmie steals.

LaDuca will have a better average thou.

Stick with Posada

It depends on the needs of your team. both are good catchers. if you need it for batting average and defense go with lo duca. but, if you want a guy who will give you power go with posada. its almost a gimme for 20 hrs 80 rbis w/ posada.

I'd pick Yadi Molina, myself. But Loduca is younger than Posada, who is pretty beaten up. Go with Loduca.

LoDuca cuz hes on the METS and there going to get more wins plus hes better offensively. Not a great homerun hitter but hes always on base
