which one is better ss Peralta or Vizquel? i have to choose one of them to play in my fantasy baseball.

Ick.
Omar is 63 years old, so Perralta wins based on that alone. Expecting Omar to produce like last year at his age is very risky.

Vizquell will still get you some SB's.
Peralta may steal 1 more base than Bengie Molina this year - which is about 1. But Jhonny's power numbers keep rising but still should be in the high 20's for HR's.
Both will have close to the same avg and opportunities for RBI's.
If you need SB's play Omar, if you want HR's play Peralta

This one is pretty easy.... Peralta is a young up and comeing and is one season away from haveing a break out.
Vizquel althou a future hall of famer is one season away from just plain being broken... (d does not count in fantasy)
Peralta will get more runs, More rbi's more steals and more homers with a better average. (thats 5-0 in tools that matter for Fantasy)
peralta: 85 15 90 5 at a .290
vizquel: 80 10 50 3 at a .270
Pretty easy godda go with the youth in the better line up.

I would pick JP since Omar is showing his age and the Giants suck.

if you need steals then get omar but if you need hitting then get jp
