I'm mailing a letter and i'm not sure what is the current postage rate for a stamp?

Stamp costs prevail for the entire United States postal system. The basic (first class postage amount) is 39 cents. Now if you have a concern about weight, then put a foot forward and have your post office weigh the item of concern. Then and only then, will you know the actual cost of mailing a particular thing.
