McAfee is by far better than Norton. Let me explain why.

1 I have 4 desktops and 1 laptop. I have Norton, McAfee, PC chilling Anti Virus protections. I pay for all. I have McAfee on my laptop and on one of my desktops... The desktop with Norton has caught 5 viruses so far, and the other one with PC chilling was hacked. My desktop with McAfee has never caught a virus or spyware, and my laptop has NEVER caught a virus and spyware.

2 Norton slows down your computer.

3 McAfee does NOT slow down your computer.

I highly recommend McAfee/

The best way to decide is to check the statistics of each one. I use and prefer Norton...but, McAfee users hate Norton, and Norton users hate McAfee. Its all your choice. Techs I spoke to have their own opinions..love/hate/hate/love. Norton can perform tasks McAfee cannot and visa versa. Another note here, I use Rogers Yahoo and they provide Norton free of charge. Norton hasn't failed me yet.

If the choice is between MacAfee or Norton then go with MacAfee because Norton is bloatware junk.

They're about the same..... They protect the same, and are about the same in easy use. Norton is just a little more secure so you should go with them

Neither. Get AVG or AVAST. They are free and they are better.
