Hi, i like to point out that my pc is trash. it is 6 years old with upgrades. Newayyyyyyyyyz i went to this cpu place (wjhere they built and sell CPU parts.. So i found 2 cpu's that lookd good here's the specs

The 1st on is
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 System
Intel Core 2 duo E6300 Processor
2 GB DDR2 Memmory
400 GB/7200 RPM SATA HARD DRIVE
16X DVD BURNER
NVIDIA Geforce 7600GS (256MB Graphics card)
Win Xp home edition/logitech x-530 speakers.

The 2nd one is
AMD Athlon64 X2 4200+ System
AMD ATHLON X2 4200+ PROCESSOR
2 GB DDR MEMMORY
400GB 7200 rpm hd
16x dvd burner
Nvidia 7600GS (256)
win xp home/ logitech x-530 speakers

they both come with 19 inch Flat panel LCD monitor....
and they are both $1499 (US Dollars)

I would love to play games like battlefield 2/ Need for speed most wanted/ wc3 tft/ counter strike with good graphics and no lag. So i was wondering which pc should i buy and is the price good for the package?

Definitely go for the E6300. It blows the x2 4200+ out of the water and through the snow to my grandmother's house it goes
(my grandmother is in china ><)
Okay so maybe that was an exaggeration, but you get my point... it is much better.

Personally I'd go for an E6400. Its only about £5 more expensive than an E6300 and kicks the pants off the AMD X2 4200.

You would do well to get a better graphics card too.

Intel Core 2 Duo has killed AMD, since AMD uses more power, is more expensive and generates more heat.

Also if you love games, try getting geforce 8800, If you get DX 10 graphics card, then you wont have to upgrade for a long time. It will cost more but only if you play games.

For gaming buy a notebook computer.Cuz the parts match ,there is a very good quality for graphics.With that money u can buy best laptop for games.A laptop with duo core would be the best

For $1499 you could do better than that...for that kind of dough, you should be getting Vista...

You could upgrade your PC to those specs for 1/2 that...

Look what you can build for 800.00 on this site. In my opinion stay with Intel processors
