Unfortunately, a lot of people are like that. More so than not. Like the old saying, Fear creates fear....Greed creates greed. I read a story recently of a man who won 23 million dollars in the lotto and within 6 months, he was broke. Lost most of it gambling, trying to win more.

No, I don't think all people keep wanting. Some people can be happy with nothing and others keep wanting. Bhudda taught something like desire is the cause of all unhappiness and when you don't have any desire you can reach nirvana or complete happiness and peace. I think you can reach nirvana by following the eightfold path.

seriously, its like going on a game show and only winning a few thousand dollars instead of the entire prize. shouldnt you be happy with that, what if you didnt make the show in the first place??? its silly to me, but i would beat myself up a little bit if i was in that position

no, but its just the nauture of most humands to want money and power like that. mostly unhappy or cruel people are like that.
