it is a boy and girl and have been in the same cage since last october. Is she pregnant? How big will the babies be? How many babies will she have?

The female rabbit starts pulling the hair from under her neck to build a nice soft nest for her young! Yes, your rabbit is pregnant!! They will be VERY small and will have NO hair on their pink little bodies, that is why it is necessary for the fur in the nest!
She could give birth to as few as two and as many as fifteen or more!!! They are ever so much fun to have and raise. After they are born, make sure the mother has plenty of food and water...and whatever you do, DO NOT disturb the babies, no matter how cute they may look. If you touch them or even appear to reach for them, the worst thing you will EVER experience will happen....She will EAT them!! That is right, eat them! In her small brain, she will think she will better protect them by putting them back where they came from...her stomach!! I know this sounds gross, but it is true...I found out the hard way and I wanted to kill my female, until I found out from a veteran rabbit raiser that this is very common among rabbits and mice!So do not touch them until they have all their fur, which should be in about 3-4 weeks! Then the mother should not care if you pet them!

Ok,separate them now.Dad will eat the babies.She is close if she has pulled hair.She can have 5 or more.They will be maybe 2 inches.They will be bald funny lookin lil rascals.After she has them do not touch them.She doesnt want your smell or anyones smell on her nest or babies.Do not move the nest or anything.She will take care of them as she pleases.She will cover them with the hair she pulled out.You will see the hair move around once in awhile so you will know she had them.Remember they are apart of nature and they take its course sometimes.If this is her first litter she maybe successful and she just may not know what to do.Well sometimes they eat their young.It doesnt make her bad.You have to move the daddy.He will eat them.Good luck and enjoy cuz when they start poppin out of the hair and you cansee them she will let you touch them.They are so cute and fun.Then they will be just hopping all over.Dont return daddy unless you want more babies right away.They can breed back in a very short time.

You will have more than 2 soon. The babies are very small at birth, and the number varies from 2 or 3 to as many as 10.

she is getting ready to have babies, watch her close, some rabbits will eat their babies, she can have up to 8. and dont touch them until they have hair on them, she will eat them if you do.
