I've seen at least three questions today relating to clown phobias. Hmmmm, not very believable.

I have nothing against clowns in general... but I can see why someone would have a fear of them... they have an overly happy almost psycho look about them and you never know what they're thinking because they look so friendly and happy... a lot of movies depict clowns as being creepy so that could be why people are so scared of them... a clown that goes around molesting kids is the most perverted f-ing thing ever, and there have been cases of that... people just dont trust someone that has a smile permanently plastered on their face... but I don't get scared when I see one or have a phobia of them

How are you not afraid of clowns? I basically fear anywho whose face I can't see due to a mask or facepaint. I don't know why, but it freaks me out. Not to the point where I am crippled with fear, but I would definitely prefer to NEVER be around clowns.

I don't have a phobia, but every time I see one it reminds me of John Wayne Gacy, the serial killer. He used to dress like a clown and looked EVIL when he did.

clowns are scary as well as mimes...believe me!
I wasn't as scared of mimes til 2 chased me down the street one day. I thought they were clowns so I freaked out and then they proceeded to chase me just to scare me...true story!
