Well, first, is it a 4 or a 6 in your car? Either way, if you feel up to the challenge, you must be careful. This is not a job to be rushed into by someone inexperienced. If you've never done a timing belt before, its really best to have someone knowledgeable to help you, or even take a mechanic class at the local college. Go to Audi world tech articles all the tools and procedure are listed .If you have not done one before its better left to a professional its not an easy one.The scheduled time is 7.6hrs so you dont get ripped off. Mick UK own and work on Audis.

Dont. This is an interfrence engine.
That means if you dont put it in correctly it will bend all the valves.
This is not a job for a person who has no experence doing this.
Please have a mechanic do it for you.
