The reason why you never see that in films is because in order to show a man being raped you either need to have a strap on or an erect penis to some how make it credible. Women raping men is censorship problem. Men raping women is a matter of camera angle and implied penetration. You never have to see an erect penis, and an erect penis will get you an X rating. That is why most films avoid the subject.

Well, let's start with the facts shall we. Only 1 in 33 men in America is sexually assaulted, for women the number is 1in 6. If you think about the logic behind men and women in general, how our bodies are made and how our minds work; a man being raped by a woman is much less likely to happen. Rape is usually an act of violence, men have testosterone and this usually causes them to be more violent. Look at sports and the camaraderie that is formed by men seeing other men get pummeled. This doesn't make rapists but it shows that they have an easier time handling violence.
If a woman rapes a man, there's just going to be a lot more involved. Men are visual creatures, if they aren't turned on, you can pretty much forget about them having an erection, making rape a rather difficult task. Assuming that a woman would want to rape a man by having him penetrate her she'd have to give him some kind of drug to give him an erection, just like it was portrayed in the movie"Ricochet." Raping a man anally would typically be out of character for a woman and would essentially be looked at as assault. So although rape would not be impossible, it is kind of improbable.

I am not 100% sure of my stats, but if I remember correctly, of every 100 rapes, less then 10 victims are men, of those 10 men, less then 1 is raped by a woman. (I think it is 0.9%) Anatomically speaking man can be raped. YES. But the mentallity behind rape is largely a masculine mindset. The need for control, for violence and dominance are just not a large part of the feminine make-up as it is of the masculine. Physicallity has a enliment as well. Women rapists tend to rape other women as well, as they are perceived to be easier to control. Most rapes aren't stranger rapes, they acquaintance rapes. Therefore the rapist knows the victim at least a little and knows (or believe they know) their level of vulnerability. There is so much involved in the mentality of rape, so many factors, the victim being "weak and pathetic" is a stereo-type by people who think that rape could never happen to them. Rape victims are not "weak and pathetic" they are survivors!

There have been many movie where men were raped by men. You don't see many where a woman rapes a man. It can be done, with drugs, and from what I have read, fear can cause a man to have an erection. It's not so common so that's why it's not played that much. And it's not about being the weaker sex.......it's about power and control.

It is possible for a man to be raped by a woman, but MUCH less common so it's obviously not portrayed as much in film. As a general rule, men are bigger and stronger than women so it's easier for them to take advantage. Also, anatomical reasons make it easier as well. It's not sexism.. it's a reflection of reality.

Personally i don't see it as "women are weak because they get raped." I see it as "Rapist are excessively violent and crave control."
you can be a strong in different ways then physically...and even a strong person can get raped depending on the circumstances.
It's not SEXIST that women don't rape men. it's just not as common. It's a SICKNESS, not a form of discrimination.

Amen.
If a man can do something so can a woman. That is the attitude sexist macho men take. It is finally a rewarding feeling to have someone come out and say it!

It is definetly possible for a woman to rape a man, however you would probably find that most men would not come forward about such an act happening

Because a man would say......."What you want me to screw you? Sure".......thus, no rape...........c'mon figure it out. Most of the time men are willing to get some........it's not about women being the weaker sex, it's about human nature.
