Who will win the AL Central? It is possibly the best division in the league with 4 contenders. In my opinion the White Sox,Indians,Tigers and Twins all have shots. Here are my predictions.

1.Twins 90 W, 72 L
2.Indians 87 W,75 L(wild card)
3.Tigers 85 W, 77 L
4.White Sox 82 W,80 L
5.Royals(if you want to count them) 60 W,102 L

If your surprised I have the Tigers in 3rd I just can't see them winning 95 games agian.I won't say they can't I just don't think they will.Who do you think will win?

The Royals are better then last year no doubt but so is the division. When you play 4 good teams 60% of the year you can win 75 games.

Tigers will win the division. Indians will win the wild card. Tigers pitching got better (and healthy) and they added Gary Sheffield. Everyone keeps talking about the Indians and I really cannot see that roster not producing again this year. I mean they produced but... this isn't their year to win it all but they will make some big strides to win a championship in the next 2-4 years. The Twins are good but I don't see liriano having another year like last year and santana can only win 20 games or so... cuddyer wont have as big of a year...

It is deffinitly going to be a tought battle for first. You have 4 really good teams that could win it. Those being the White Sox, Twins, Tigers and Indians. I'm thinking more like...
1. White Sox
2. Twins.
3 Tigers
4. Indians

&& the wild card deffinitly coming out of the AL Central.

I think that the Tigers will win the central, because they have that great pitching staff and now with Sheff they have that big bat that will complete the batting order. As for the wild card, I know that I will take a lot of grief for this but I feel that it would go to the Red Sox if their pitching staff preforms up to its potential if not then I would say the Twins with the White Sox and Indians barley losing out. As for the Royals I think the only way there losing 100 games is if they can't handle inter-division play which will be hard.

Indians to win the Central since MIN,DET and CHI all had their chances now it's time for some one elce that deserves it. The Indians are getting about 50/50 right now on respect as a team. We have made big changes in the off season and fixed out bullpen issues that messed up the whole team last year and added a few extra helpers with Nixon and a few others in the Outfield. We have one of the best players in Grady Sizemore and big PRONK so I think the team has learned from their mistakes and will make up for it with an AL Central Divsion crown in '07

Tigers win the division. Twins take the wild card. You are way underestimating the Royals this year. I'm not saying that they are going to compete for the division title or anything, but I can certainly see them with something around a 75-87 record. They are getting better and won't lose 100 games again this season.

Tigers win the division, Twins take wild card. The Indians are overrated. They didn't do that well last year, and as far as I know, didn't make many offseason changes. Same for the White Sox. Twins take the wild card, but not because their bad. They'll still be riding their sucsess from last year, but with Lirano out and unproven worth in Ponson and Russ Ortiz, they'll take the wild card. Tigers are the best in the Central. With the talent they have, they'll win the toughest division in baseball.

It will be too close to call. The injury to Lee could really hurt the Indians chances. And the Sox will win more than 82. The Tigers will probably finish in 4th.
I think that the wild card will probably be from the East, with it being either Boston or New York. But than again, it could be L.A. or Oakland. It is just too early to tell anything.

The Twins will take the AL Central. The Wildcard will come out of the West and most likely be the Rangers.

The Indians will win the Central and the Tigers will win the Wild Card. Royals won't make it to the playoffs for another 1,000,000,000 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
