I have a 12 man tent and it has a rip in the pole holder in on of the sleeping compartments. Being of limited means, I would prefer to repair the tent rather than buy a new one. Does anyone know if there is a suitable repair kit that can be used.

when the material is well dry,stick a patch of old jeans material on the inside with say evostick, then using thread ( from a saddlery place/horse tack shop, stitch round patch and rip....put candle wax on your needle, finish by re-waxing the area,

I normally resort to gaffa tape to fix everything.... good for waxing, too. lol

Have you tried duct tape, that is very strong and waterproof.
