Yeah, when I was younger, I was in to mountain biking. Once I was going down a very steep mountain track and had to avoid a dog that ran in front of me- swerved off in the forest at about 40 mph dodging trees here, there, and everywhere when BAM... I got clothes lined and landed flat on my a*s! The branch hit right at chest and shoulder height so I didn't get seriously injured - just a lot of nasty bruises! The tree lost a limb though!
On the way home - I was doing about the same speed down the road when a lorry parked round the corner on a single track road was suddenly right there! I bounced off the back of it and lay stunned for quite some time. The fact that I managed to survive both of those things in one day, made me feel invincible! Then I grew up and older - and realised it's just not the case. It was fun while it lasted though - I have so many stories like that to tell the future grand kids! I really am surprised I'm still alive sometimes!

Yep... I thought I'd gotten over the flu... felt like nothing could harm me. Then I threw up again... and again. I didn't feel so invincible after that. No sir.

I must have when I was a teenager. I took far too many chances and am only still here through divine intervention - must have a guardian angel :)
