That's a great idea! Memoirs are really fun to write, because you can let your personality and wit overrun the story, so that even a somewhat boring memory can be intriguing if you are humorous or exaggerate.

I remember one day in February my son's soccer coach called a practice. It was like 12 outside and us moms were freezing our butts off watching while the kids ran around the field like idiots. They were only 7 and didnt have a clue what soccer was about anyway. Finally, we ganged up and walked out on the field and took our kids home leaving the coach alone and really mad. If it helps, their uniforms were blue and white and they looked really cute in them. Is there a moral to my little memory? Not really - but then again you didnt ask for one. You just asked for a memoir. By the way - Im not bored - Im never bored - I just thought I'd brighten up your day with a little story. Hope it helped. C.

Once upon a time I crammed a soccer ball up a guy who was bored and asking me to waste my time so he could write about "What I did last summer."
