On average I think that killers are produced by their environment but this is not to absolve them. Many perople have rotten childhoods etc but do not turn out to be murderers. A normal person, no matter how much he may hate someone, will not kill. Some people have a violent nature which they can't or won't control.
Those people who turn out to be serial killers have, according to report, shown signs of cruelty in early childhood. It seems possible, therefor, that some people are just born bad. Nasty thought.

No, unless they have a psychological illness where the killer has an urge to kill even people they love. Can't think what the name is, but there was a newspaper article not that long ago where a man begged his jailers to keep him in jail because he said he would kill someone. The jailers didn't listen, the man was released and he killed his cousins and his close relatives.
And also it could be something to do with the killer's past.

We are all born to kill.
Now don't give me any of that nonsense about innocence, just leave a year old baby alone with a litter of kittens for ten minutes and you'll see our genetic programming in action. It is upbringing that removes the desire or inclination to kill as we get older and don't fool yourself that the desire is offset by conscience. No, unfortunately it is only the promise of judicial, or for some divine, retribution that stops us from killing each other. Sometimes not even that is enough.

NO NO NO. Killers arent born. They arent born to kill either. Everyone is born an innocent little Bible, with the possible propensity to sin. But, much comes from genetic backgrounds, and those curses can be broken by Jesus. Noone is stuck to be like a mother a father or any of that. All are free to choose. But, the way ppl are treated determines how they are, think and act, and mix that with some generational curses, that noone has asked Jesus Christ to break, and you can have some pretty messed up ppl, that were never taught about Jesus, about being overcomers. Its not about what was done to us, its how we see it and deal with it,... that alone determines how we turn out, and its never too late to get on course with God either.
No child is born to be a killer or a pervert, any of that. They are made that way by ppl devaluing them as ppl and breaking their spirits. devil is behind all of it.
But, we have authority of the devil in Jesus Christ, wish everyone knew that. Just ask for it and you have it.
PPL can change and too change, never too late, but they must want it and ask for it and obey God to get it.
You ever see a raging angry 3 yr old kid.?? Noone born that way. life and ppl hurt him and make him angry, and feeling hopeless and in fear, to the point he is full of rage and fights back with a vengence. BUt, it can be changed.... ask JESUS.

Personally..No...but they may be born with a mental condition that goes untreated. Perhaps something terrible happens to them early on on it festers within them so that they act out in such a violent way. We all have the ability for both good and bad behavior its what we choose...unfortunately a severe mental illness untreated may hinder a persons ability to choose right from wrong. I do not however believe anyone is born evil. I know sometimes it sure seems that way...but we can never really know what happened to a person to make them violent.

No I do not think killers are born to kill.
Sometimes the killer is sick, greedy, jealous or just have an evil streak in them maybe because of an issue arising from their childhood.

people aren't born killers, your personality is formed in the first 18 months of life,I believe that if your brought up in a violent environment as a young child then that is where your whole concept of life can go terribly down hill in later life.IE If a child has grown up and sees his mother being hit then as he gets older he will think that's normal.

Nature vs Nurture. I think its a combination of both. They have linked mental illness to genetics. Although some people with mental illness are harmless others are not. But, I think an individuals environment (family, society, ect) has the most impact.

They may be--for example, someone born with paranoid schizophrenia, and who is unmedicated, may have a very difficult time avoiding violence. Others, on the other hand, are trained to kill-say, members of the military.

I personally don't but I did a Psychology class a few weeks ago and they have done studies into it. Some people believe that there is a gene that makes you kill
In my opinion I don't think that this is true, I believe that influences in people's lives might have impact on what they do.
