Well you since you robbed the bank of a pen then it is a bank robbery but the bank won't care about it. After all it is only worth a couple dollars.

This is a theft and not robbery. The simple difference between robbery and theft is: in theft you steal the property stealingly and with deceipt. In robbery you use force and remove the property. Even you are ready to give injury to people where you commit robbery.

No, it would be theft. In order to to commit a robbery you need to take the item off/from another person by force or the threat of violence and not an item that is lying around

It is doubtful that it would be a crime, however if it were one, it would be larceny. "Robbery" requires the taking be by force and "theft" is only a general term for the taking of property.
