Dummy lyrics are used by a songwriter. They are temporary nonsense words which will be replaced later when the correct words are written. Dummy lyrics can be used to skip over lines you're not sure about yet, and they can help you find the right melody before picking words.

Some dummy lyrics don't die. In the 80s, Phil Collins had a huge hit called Su Su Sudio. He explained that these words were dummy lyrics which never went away so he just made them the name of a girl.
